Principals of TransCapital

JAMES D. HOWARD, JR, Co-Owner and Manager for the Tax Credit Program joined TransCapital in 2001. Mr. Howard held the position of Chief Operating Officer of a national real estate development and syndication firm specializing in tax-advantaged investments for over five years before affiliating with TransCapital. Mr. Howard also served as a partner in the law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy, P.A. in Phoenix, Arizona where he specialized in complex real estate finance transactions. He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Georgetown University Law Center.

JOSEPH F. CAMPAGNA, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, co-founded TransCapital Corporation in 1976. Mr. Campagna began the firm in the high technology leasing sector and has directed the expansion of its services to include investment banking, aerospace finance, merchant-banking, fund-advisory, and structured finance. Prior to founding TransCapital, Mr. Campagna was a consultant to the Secretary of Commerce and an Associate Professor at the graduate school of American University. Mr. Campagna holds a degree in Logic from the College of William & Mary.
